SHED Board has established Santikuthir Clinic at Santikuthir village, Gopalganj district in 1978, supported by Liebenzell Mission Germany. This poverty-stricken area is surrounded by marshy lands. The area has no good communication roads. People mainly suffer from diseases caused by insufficient clean water supply due to flooding, and insufficient sanitation systems. This is coupled with the general lack of health awareness in many communities. Santikuthir clinic has a good reputation. The clinic is called “House of Peace”. Indeed, patients, who are coming for medical treatment, receive proper medical care.  They return to their villages cured or with improved health. They are at peace, thankful for medical care they’ve received.
