Nursing Training Institutes(NTI)

Nursing Institution started its first training course in 1931. It has been expanding gradually considering the need of qualified nursing staff. The Training School for Nurses was recognised by the Bengal Nurses Registration Act in 1937. The Nursing Training institute is a part of CHC.

With recognition of the BNC (Bangladesh Nursing Council) an 18 months junior midwifery course has been started in 2012.

Through this training the female nursing students are being equipped to work in any hospital. Their professional skills, which were developed in the junior midwifery course, enable them to earn a living. The regular salary they get through their professional work, enables them to support their families financially.
