Christian Leprosy Centre (CLC) was established with a small house built on the hill in 1913. It is now the only leprosy referral centre for greater Chittagong district, including all three Hill Districts covering a population of 26 million. It provides all essential cares including leprosy complications for free.

CLC also runs a rehabilitation centre (Ashram) for the leprosy affected old patients who have been abandoned by their family. It is well equipped to provide all kinds of leprosy related complications. These days CLC is facing funding crisis and fully supported by income from CHC General Hospital.
